So I got her number. Last night she offered it to me and I was like naww I’m good. Then tonight at work we were talking about the heat basketball game. She swore up and down the Heat would lose. So having complete faith in them I bet for her number. She agreed. Before the game even ended, it went into OT and was close as hell, she gave me her number. Wrote it on some paper. I’m not at all worried of her significance but I’m wondering on if or how to tell my girlfriend without her freaking out or thinking anything of it.

If I was a famous author I would publish a book with ten different endings which all went to print with varying degrees of rarity, but not tell the fans about it so that I could watch their confusion as they disagree over how the story ended. Then when they figured it out I would ‘come clean’, telling them that I had released eleven alternate endings and watch them panic again as they all try to find the last ending.
